Find an event site! Sanctioning/insurance/staffing/equipment is exactly one phone call away (US Drift, possibly with some help from NASA Autocross.)
As for money... hard to say because there are so many variables. I've worked single-day events that cost < $1000 to put on, as well as single-day events that cost $5000+ to put on. Contact Brian or Mike at US Drift for details.
