I have a turbonetics wastegate and the screw fell out of the top of it what are thing that can go wrong when that happens and how bad is it and i cant get another screw to go all the way in there.

You don't use that "screw" unless you have a manual boost controler, So it is pretty much function less other wise. So You shouldn't have a problem.

It is for if you had a manual boost controler. You would put a vacume line from the boost controler to that and ajust boost that way.

 

Thats wrong. You are thinking of an electronic boost controller where you need to run a line to the top and side ports of the wastegate. A manual boost controller goes inline with your normal wastegate pressure source. The screw on the top of the turbonetics(if it is a deltagate) is for adjusting boost. If you tighten it you can get a little more boost.
