Actually the T3/T4E is a good streetable turbo capable of making anywhere between 350 to 450Hp. I would go with .63 A/r on the exhaust side with a stage 5 wheel. Alot of honda guys are running the T3 60-1. Most of the power is made in the Higher boost levels.

greddy is a good turbo choice. The manifold will take any mitsubishi turbo. 16g 20g 25g etc. plus with the DSMers out there the turbos are plentyfull. if you don't wanna be mean to you mom the initial turbo kits are fairly cheap too. get your self a nice intercooler and what not. if you wanted a car that handled tight auto x track you prolly wouldn't have choose to go turbo anyway. lag is over rated. its gone with a quick down shift

Like meangreen said, the bigger the turbo is, the greater the lag. If you are running high compression, a TD04 would be ideal because it is small and can still put out more power on a high compression engine.

you should look at some compressor maps. then decide from there whats good for you daily or race needs.

terry's car is stroked and fully built and he is capable of making well over 500 hp and shit with the way the motor is built prolly 600hp after good tuning and massive boost levels, erik, terry made 370 some odd hp on the b16 with just pistons and rods and a t3.t4b turbo, his turbo was significantly smaller than mine when they were compared and made that much power, b16's are capable of 400 hp, just have to be correct in alot of things, chris your best bet for now on the stock motor will be a regular t3/to4e like i have right now, the lag isnt bad at all and when boost hits, IT HITS, until your motor is fully built and ready to make massive hp and ready for the big laggy not really made for street turbo, id stick with the t3/to4e.....

if anything, have her buy you the turbo capable of producing 450hp, then stash it until your motor can handle that, and just run t3/to4e until the motor is built.

alright.....finally some actual good advice. I know a regular 57ish trim t3to4e would be the best bet on the stock motor. My thing is right now I have basically an unlimited budget for the turbo itself so I'd like to find one that I wouldn't otherwise be able to afford. I don't feel bad puttin my mom out on this cuz she inherited a shit load of money. SO lets say I grab a t3to4e right now....I'm looking for a bad ass turbo to use down the road when I get the car built where I/shad want/s it. Basically what I'm saying is I have a perfect opportunity to get a sweet turbo and I don't want to just settle for the norm.

If your budget is unlimted I would go with a Precision SC Turbo
