Boostfed on the board. B16 built, 1.75 litres I think, dynoed at 502 or something and he's looking for 550 now

OK, I'm impressed. Is that true? Or I should say....has he posted the dyno sheet or is it claimed? (Not tyring to start anything; I just haven't been paying much attention to certain areas of this site lately).

What the hell did he do to that thing to make and withstand that much power?!?!?!?!? (His profile is blank...)

It's true. I know the guy. He's good people. Cool car too. Looks like a stock lowered Civic Si. There were quite a few people from the board there when he dynoed it. And Shad dynoed it

Cool, if you can find out what he did to it, lemme know. I am very curious. Good luck on the project.

I thought you were just kidding on the first post.

If this is str8 drag car, get a monster turbo and just cart the CRX to the track on a trailer.

It will be a track car but I'd like it to be fairly streetable. Terry's is street driven on the regular.

just remember the bigger you go, the more lag you will have, just general rule of thumb, there are ways around it.
You keep sayin you want it to handle 400 hp, but are you EVER even gonna try for that or just in like mid 300's casue go with a turbo that is properly sized not for max hp #'s

No I plan on ~400 hp down the road as I learn more and more about this stuff. I think with Shad's help along with a few others 400 hp shouldn't be that unreasonable. Don't worry..I'm not bolting a fucking Y2k turbo on the front of my CRX. I am new to the turbo thing but I'm not completely dumb.

I dont know if there is a better turbo for a 1.6 liter than the t04e .50/ III .6 t3 - the sweet spot is 7psi to 31psi... what more could you want.. hard as hell to get surge.. and it wants over 400hp...

maybe a honda engine will respond differently but my SOHC 2.3 loves these turbos.. most say its the best one on the market for many street app's
