It's for my B16 crx. It will be turboed before the motor is built so It'll be runnin around at low boost for a while. I'm not looking for 500 whp but I would like to have a turbo capable of around 400. I was just gonna go the typical T3T04e route but last night my mom drops a proposition on me. She just bought a Del Sol and wants me to lower it. If I lower her car she'll pay for any turbo I want (she just inherited some $). She won't pay for anything else...just a turbo. So I got to thinking. I want a better turbo, damn the cost. So whats up? I'm looking for recommendations on a turbo to buy.

I said a turbo capable of 400 whp on a B16. Yes Eric, I have plans for the car beyond just turboing a stock motor. I didn't say i was gonna have 400 hp anytime even remotely soon...I want a turbo cpable of pushing that though...or close to it

The motor build will come....trust me. I'm being bought a turbo so I'm doing that now. I would do some other shit first if it was out of my pocket, but it's not.

TD05 and TD06 can make 400hp+.

Even with a fully built motor and high boost, I don't think you'll have that little motor making 400hp+. But what do I know?

Even though I am ignorant, I'm sure the others will tell you to base your turbo decision on setup; ie: motor, purpose (drag/endurance/daily driver), desired traits (top end power/bottom/etc). Don't just look for one with a big HP rating. If that was the case, get a T88.

 

If terry is making 500+ why shouldn't I be able to make at or close too 400??
