Default Track wheel and tire?

So I was thinking on a Itr about running a rp-f1 15x7 or 16x7. With either kumho dot slicks, hankook dot slicks or use the for everyday usage and run a falken azenis rt 615. Anyone ever ran these setups if so let me know how you liked.

You will definitely like the PRF1 they are a really nice wheel and very light for their size. Make sure to find out what tire size you are using and what offset you will need to fit the car before ordering. What type of racing will you be doing? HPDE, Open lapping, AutoX? The tire you choose will depend on the conditions that it is being used in. If you provide some more info we may be able to help you choose a tire that will work for you.

It will be a time attack wheel and tire, the conditions will vary because I will race Wa state, oregan California arizona and va. Factory offset for my type r is 41 if I'm not mistaken. So I think I will go with a +38 for the new wheels and a 40 series tire or a 45 would do I think.

Figure out the tire or wheel widths you want. If you're saying you want a 40 or 45 series tire, all you're saying is that you want a tire that has a sidewall height of 40 or 45% of the tire width. 40 or 45 series isn't a dimension, it's a ratio.

Mouseitr, keep in mind that some brands run a tad narrow, or have higher sidewalls, when you parallel their ratios brand to brand. Some Continental tires that list as 295 are comparable to a 315 tire in another brand, or, IIRC Nitto tire sidewall say of a 45 might be closer to a 50 compared tire (if running same width). There's a site somewhere that lists these, but it's blocked for me out here so I can't grab it for you.
