big cams will need high compression, probably wouldnt idle too good, i heard they idle around 1500-2000RPMs. massive tuning by someone that knows their shit will be key to make them streetable, if they are streetable at all or not, hence toda says race only.

the only shop that i know that actually has alot of experience with the vtec killers cams is www.P1auto.com in NC. they have a car with the vtec killers with ITBs and its idling under 1k, but massive tuning with AEM EMS played the major role.

i dont know what kind of motor and what setup ur trying to run with these but it will take lots of money to get them right with compression rebuild and tuning.

i doubt that 10.8:1 compression will yield results worthwhile enough to put them in. like yeer said, it will take some serious tuning to get them to idle decently and have the car streetable...

finally people who have some idea what they are talking about. i was figuring i would just the the b16b how it sits now and build a b18c or something the motor cost too much to just take it apart to hope for good results. or i may just sell my cams and stuff take a littel loss and do something else to my motor

have you thought about maybe a little more mild cam? toda b's? or maybe jun III's? skunk2 stage 2's? all of these will yield good results and maintain streetability...from my understanding, however, you will never see the full potential of these if you don't have a cr that corresponds to the larger cams...

I also doubt that you will benefit from those cams...your compression is way too low to make those cams work, and tuning will be key...also, those cams will shine at 7k + rpms, so as far as a streetable cam...I would go with a JUN III, SK2S2, Toda B, etc...there is a guy on drag selling his toda B's right now.

Good luck!
