seems to me that u just pulled the head off and just looked at the top of the pistons.....most of the time when water is sucked in the motor rods bend and those u cant see by just taking the head off a motor....

or head just the head. Rods are not bent from what I can tell, no I didn't take the motor apart but the pistons are going all the way up, evenly, etc.

If the pistons are moving up and down freely, most likely they are ok, you can pull the oil pan and baffle and get a better look at the rods.
