Default slipping clutch

ok my spec stage 2 clutch is slipping and i think its the bolts on the pressure plate or some other bolts in the assembly. anyone know of a shop who will look at this for very cheap? i dont have a place to do this or the tools nor the time and for once, the 240/180 will be in the hands of a shop. just need the tranny removed, and problem diagnosed. the reason i suspect the bolts, is because the clutch is only 3 months old and can hold up to 475 RWHP whci o only utilize a lil more than half that. please help. need this done this week.

if it was the bolts, you would have a hole in the side of the tranny the size of your head. its not any of the bolts. trust me.

check your clutch cable (the piston under the dash) adjustment. adjust it to the point that you have to pull up the pedal for full extension, then go back one or two turns. if you dont know how to adjust your clutch pedal, get the whole car to the shop to ask them to check it.

Could also be your rear main seal leaking oil onto the clutch...happened to me, went through two clutches before I realized what was happening. I agree with greaser, your bolts are not loose lol.

i think you'd smell the oil. and it wont leak onto the clutch, it'll go on the back side of the flywheel then get slung to high heaven onto the bell housing, then drip down to a hole thats in the bellhousing to block. sr's and ka's have this hole just for that purpose to identify rear main seal leakage.

but if the leak was big enough i'm sure it would happen, but even tiki could figure out that much oil on the ground couldnt be good.

coo. same issue happened on my white car. it turned out the switch on the clutch for the cruise control was extended to far out and not letting the clutch pedal fully release.
