If you're doing this with an LS/B20 head, pump gas, and stock cams, I'd say you probably want stock, or close to stock compression.
If you're doing this with a VTEC head setup, and 300+ Duration cams, and race fuel (C22, i.e.) then you could probably run 15:1 pistons....
If you're doing this on a serious budget, you're screwed.
Might as well pick up a motor for $500-700, and a 75 wet shot, and have fun trying to keep up with B20/VTEC's that are built right.

Probably not a serious budget . But if I find a deal ima jump on it . An I have all year 2 find options . But thinks 4 ur input so far
you need to do some serious research my friend, honda-tech is going to be your best friend. dont shut everyones advice down you need to plan the build out or it will be more headache in the long run trust me. and you whole set up matters !!
Right now all I have is a bare block an I'm just lookin 4 input by ppl who r more familiar with nitrous then I am
