Default Nitrous Ready ECU?

Are there ECUs capable of delivering gains and not blowing the shit out of my motor when i hit the juice? if it advances timing and im running stock internals im guessing a chip will destroy my car. also, if i upgrade the fuel system to be ready for nitrous wont it run rich all the time except when im using nitrous?

That is why MSD makes Timing Controllers...

this enables you to select the amount of timing retard in degress, based on givin rpms....

you can run full stock timing, but engage the timing controller only when you spray...

I dont know your ignition set up... but im sure they have one that will work for you...

That is the plan, i did a write up in a thread on exactly how to wire it up....

the WOT micro switch will also control the power relay for the timing controller....that way it will only be active when the N2O system is active, and the throttle is at WOT...

this way you do not loose any N/A HP....

oh, and to answer your question....

Im saving for a fuel pump too support 850 fwhp...

i will be pushing 700 fwhp with a 175 shot...

after the fuel pump i will get the timing control and the jets for 175...

untill then i will be happy with just 100....

do you know how a chipped application would handle an external retarding? like if the chip is advancing and your timing controller is retarding, what happens
