Default Need Help!!!!!!! is it my tranny or clutch

every time i put my car in gear at a stand still either the clutch or trann starts to wine. ad when m driving i have to slam my gears into position.. can some one let me know something
oh yeah i gotta 1gen fwd tsi.

dont know much about dsm's but if you have to slam the shifter to get it into gear then your clutch probaly isnt releasing all the way when you depress the pedal im pretty sure its a cable tranny so check your clutch line and see if it can be adjusted some way to maybe take the slack out of it, also check tranny fluid level.....

its your clutch the wining is probably your throwout bearing. call auto solutions they got act clutches in stock

its a hydraulic clutch. Check slave cylinder and associated lines. MAYBE Your clutch also. Mine did that and the springs in the hub were broken out.
