just got done with a ls swap into a gsr, both are 1994's but one probem when we had the transmission out we replaced the clutch, the pressure plate, and the throw out bearing into the gsr transmission onto the ls engine. Now the clutch wont engage. What could the problem be? there is pressure in the pedal, the fork is hitting the throw out bearing, its just not engaging. We had the transmission torqued to specs also,, any help would be greatful, thanks

 

is the Fork moving ? Check your slave sylinder ? Do you have full pressure on the pedal ?

 

yes the rod in the slave cylinder moves as well ad the fork. The fork moves app 2.5 in. and its not a dead pedal not sure if full pressure

 

still baffled by it!!!!!!!!! the clutch engages when the car is off, but when i start it the clutch wont go into any gear

 

is the clutch disc in backwards?

 

When you push the clutch in does the clutch pedal come back up by itself ? How many times did you bleed it ? do you have the car off the jack stands LOL
