Check the ignition coil, I've seen this similar problem occur on other vehicles.

do you pull your plugs out every now & then to see how things are burning?
you could possibly be detonating....

your dizzy could be bad also...
I'm going to be checking all my plugs today, plus i'm going to get my timing checked. I'm not running colder spark plugs yet, but I am about to purchase the Denso Iridiums.

make sure you go a step or two colder
