how to get vtec question.

Default how to get vtec question.

ok heres the deal. I have a jdm d15b. its suppost to be sohc vtec. but im not running it. right now i have a dx ecu and a covering the people who sold me the engine over where the vtec solenoid should be on the head. so what should i do inorder to get vtec? which ecu do i get? and which vtec solenoid do i use? thanks.

theres a cap over were the solenoid should be? go get a d16y8, d16z6 ecu and get either one of there solenoids while your at it

hey buddy, i had the same questions about mine...mine is d16y8 sohcvtec and have no vtec i need the right ecu....(p28) and the right wiring harness if you find one let me know where so i can get one too!...i work for the dealership and hall honda wants $816 for a new one. good luck finding a cheaper one!
or you can use a 89 teg (manual trans) ecu .....aka the zc motor...do you have a 1.6 stock computer.
