whats better ls vtec or b16? i wanted to get a b16 but i can get a ls vtec cheaper. does the ls vtec have any major problems?

 

Depend's.. Ls vtec makes more hp and tq then a b16, But its really all about how it was built.. Using a stock ls bottom end with a vtec head is not exactly the most reliable motor. Higher rpms above 7500 rpm with Ls rods is not something you want to do alot. It all depends on the build. Here is the best Ls/vtec how to.
