MSD RPM Activated Switch for VTEC?
Ok I have a Msd activated switch that and I am trying to use it on my d16y8, I got a swap but i did not get the harness from the donar car, so i am trying to activate VTEC with MSD RPM switch. Is it possible? Anyone hooked up this setup up before? I am technologically inclined but i just would need to know to hook what wire where.
If it is possible to use the switch?
If you would like a link to the switch I have,
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...MSD-8950&N=120 303650
I also bought the 5k to 5.8k modules.

Re: MSD RPM Activated Switch for VTEC?
ok the msd rpm switch is a negative trigger, so i dont think i need to use a relay. I have pics below of the two connectors. I just need to know which wire do i connect the switch to on the solenoid to activate the vtec? And Then i need to know what to do with the other two wires that will not are not hooked to anything.
