i know that i might get flamed for this but i was just wondering about all the different honda engines. i know the nissan engines and i understand them but i dont know honda engines. what i wanna know are the different engine types (like the LS and GSR engines) and their displacement and what car the engines come from.

there isnt really a way to tell from just looking at the engine code. you have to basically memorize what certain engines come equiped with it and which dont. also in the case of vtec conversion engines, you need to be able to pick out the heads...it doesnt take long to learn what they look like.
