how can u tell if you have a 1.5 or 1.6 liter engine in a 91 hb

look where the transmission and the engine bolt together theres a square flat spot on the engine with numbers in it. if it is d15 its a 1.5 an if it says d16 its a 1.6

usually it'll say on the motor somewhere. if its a 1.6 its a d16, 1.5: d15. you can also tell by the valve cover. the d16's valve cover has a rectangular shape while the d15 has a pentagonal shape
