Oh shit, I set the timing this evening and when i went to start the car the battery died, I must have done the same thing. Did you keep adjusting the CAS?

one more question do you think i could have fucked anything up on the harness trying to use the E5 ECU??????

 

nevermind i read the statment above E5 and 62 are the same

 

I got it started but its smoking like in a few sec from the exhaust manifold or turbo

be concerned after a good running if the smoke is still there.

did you get the correct ecu or was there something else wrong?

 

some smoke around the turbo or whatever is natural, mine dide. its just oil residue or something thats getting burned off.

 

how much oil do these motors ask for, someone told me 3??? when i changed the oil it seemed like 5qts came out.

The idle is rough, keeps revving up and down, ill check the motor tommarow once all this rain is out of the way. Ill keep you guys posted
