1990 caprice 5.7L TBI
I've been doing an upper engine performance rebuild (cam, roller lifters, titanium pushrods, Dart heads, roller rockers, dual plane intake). Installation went ok, headaches with vendors not knowing what went with what.
Degreed the cam, buttoned everything up tight. Double checked distributor & advance, set to 12deg BTC. With a prime, she started right up first turn of the key.
She's runnin really really *really* rich..black smoke, loads up during idle, wants to die/floods. Got her on the street, relatively little/no go power, exhaust popping/occasional light backfiring.
Computer isn't throwing any codes, but I'm getting no power.
Help, I'm at the mercy of the freakin' computer ! Anybody have any
ideas on what I can do next ??

P.S - does anyone have an OBD 1 reader to see exactly what numbers the sensors are sending to the computer?
