are there supposed to be headbolts that are longer than one another? i'm having trouble finding short bolts like the other ones i have, need to know asap, this is the only thing holding me back from completing my car

 

there should be two longer bolts taht go in the two center holes of the LS. the rest are all shorter bolts

 

i've tried type r bolts and gsr's, they're at least 1 cm longer than the bolts i have

 

itll matter when you go to use the torque wrench.

 

well, i found my old short bolts, i'm using those, but i lost one (oops) anyways, i found out that one of my helicoils were set a little higher than the others, making my bolt stick up about 1/4inch to a cm higher than the others, tomorrow i'm having a machine shop modify a bolt to make more threads and make it a little shorter (10th bolt came from jdmdc2, thanks)

anyone have opinions on a modified, used bolt?
