Default replace headbolts or not?

Hey, I am doing a headgasket on a 2nd generation dohc zc. I was told it is recommended to replace the 10 headbolts that hold the head onto the block when replacing the headgasket. So is this absolutely necessary, or can it be done without it and not have any problems? I am not going to boost it or anything like that, i'm just using it as a daily driver. So let me know guys.

i'd say if this is the first time taking them off then it's still good but if it's like the 5th or 6th... then no...

I say replace with oem, or arp head studs.Really should not reuse head bolts. People say you can, but no real way to tell if the stretched at all, and would rather only have to pull the head off once. I would never reuse them, and anyones car I work on, I make them buy new ones. Better safe then sorry. Plus ARP's are only like $100 and are stronger and reusable.

I always replace with either oem or arp also. No use in not using arp.
