having problem with map code

Default having problem with map code

so have had code 3 pop up for the past few days when the car goes into boost. what is happening is it good up till 7-8 lbs after engine light comes on. no vacum leak checked all and the only thing i can think is map but like i said its ok up till 7-8 lbs off boost. also temp gauge is all wacked out here lately when car goes to boost or even just pick up like normal drv cond. the gauge goes up and dwn but never passes 1/4 the way up past norm drv cond.any help would be great. thanks

Can't suggest much except MAF (or whatever you use)

In case you didn't know:

Code 3: MAP Sensor (Manifold Absolute Pressure) defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor

Do you have a stand alone? Check valves? Missing link?

1 OF 2 things.....either the map sensor is bad or you need more check valves or a larger vacuum line or both

Doin'. Got the car running pretty consistant, considering it's condition. Blowing off hoses left and right now that I am hitting real boost numbers. Discovered auto-x over the weekend..I'm in love.
