just gotta custom 3 inch exaust put on
now my car boost out of control.
i turned the boost all the way down still crazy boost
changed the stock waste gate still the same .
does anyone have a clue whats going on???????????

 

so you have a mbc?

 

I dunno. Maybe the exhaust is flowing through the turbo TOO easy now and there's no motivation for it to divert through the WG?

 

do you have a cat? did you actually change the wastegate or just he actuator? if hte flapper isn't opening all the way it would cause this.

 

whered you get the exhuast and how much did it cost you? crus or mandrel bent? i need 3" exhuast.

sounds like you have boost creep, what turbo do you have?

 

yeha boost creep is normally lead by acuwator not opening fully. It wont happen by how large your exhaust pipe is. My friend with a volvo has 4 inch exhaust downpipe. NO problem.. Its all about the wastegate. Also the size/flow can over extend the wastegates capablity.


You could try buying a new flapper and port hte wastegate hoole larger

i came to the conclusion it was boost creep
i have a MBC, and i just changed the acuator, so i should just pull off the turbo
and check the flapper????

oohh yeah stock turbo
and no cat..... gotta run race fuel for the track
