Default Cel Code problem?

When I jump the connector the srs light blinks but the check engine light doesn't it just stays on? I don't know how to check which codes the ecu is throwing if the check engine light is not blinking? Any Ideas?

I appreciate the link but I've already seen it....If you read it you will see that I have done everything that thread has asked but I don't get the same results that are stated I was wondering if any of you guys could help..

is there a cel on when you dont jump the harness is not your not going to have no codes, if so might want to look for another ecu

Yeah the check engine light comes on randomly while I'm driving..sometimes.

friend of mine had a computer that would do that just pop on at random car ran perfect he got another ecu, changed nothing and it never came on again
