grinding first gear
What would be the likely cause of this, considering I haven't been hard on it(no powershifting, clutch drops). It recently started happening and occurs more frequently after the car has been driven for awhile. Transmission is a 5spd, RWD getrag.

Re: grinding first gear
Might need a fluid change. Grinding after the car has been driven for a while sometimes means the fluid isn't doing a great job at temperature anymore.

Re: grinding first gear
Fluid was changed ~10K ago.
Car is a 93 volvo 940 turbo but the transmission is from a euro spec 940. I'lll bleed the clutch tomorrow and hope for the best.
