the tach isnt woking or the gas gauge or temp nor blinkers,when i turn the key on the battery light comes on and thats it and if i turn my brights on the light comes on in the cluster to indicate that they are on....and the back round light dont work either

the backs of those clusters have little plugs in them that finish the circuit and put power to the individual gauges. pull it out and check to see if all the little plugs are in there. and are in there properly. its easy for things to come loose when trying to reinstall the cluster
with the tach issue happeneing on both clusters though, it may be something other than the cluster itself
do what you said and check the fuse..its been a while since ive had my DA and had to deal with the cluster issue
