Default need help locked keys in

How would I get a set of keys out of my 95 hatch. Manual locks. I know call a lock smith blah blah . But on the lock there is a rod that goes down to the side of the door. now to pop that lock you u have to go up or down on it ? Or is there an easier way ?

Shove a wedge between the seal and the window. With your head pressed against the window and a flashlight you should be able to see the lock through the crack. Like a plastic square with metal bars coming off each corner. Get at one of those bars (as close to the plastic as possible) with a hanger and push down/pull up until it unlocks.

Do this on the passenger side. If you do it on the driver side you'll need to pull the handle and hold it up the whole time.

if none of those work you can try this...

use your fingers or a wedge to pry the top of the door open
insert clotheshanger
profit.

Go to Advance Auto and buy a slim jim. Its a thin metal sheet that has a hooked notch on one end. You can use it to unlock your door. It has intructions on the back. It takes a little bit of practicing but you can do it. They're only about $9.
