euroaccord won't start
ok, this goes back a few weeks ago when I was working on a friend of mines rover with has teh F20Z Euro Accord engine in it.
We bought a new(ok used) distributor which was test at the company before they sent it to us.
Swapped it in, no problem, but the car still won't turn over.
Fuel pump is priming, chamber is getting gas, battery has plenty of juice, starter is turning motor but still nothing. They ECU in the damn thing doesn't have a light so I can't even see if its throwing a code. Check engine light is not on.
Checked the wires to make sure they were on correct. Pulled main fuse and left it out for about 10 minutes to reset the ECU. Hell, I removed the ECU just incase.
Anybody have any ideas why this will not turn over?

Re: euroaccord won't start
What ECU are you using, if it's OBD2 it very well may have a immobilizer in it. I don't remember how the immo setup works though, it may not let the car turn over at all, so that may not be the problem.
You've swapped distributors, but do you actually have spark at the plugs??

Re: euroaccord won't start
no I didn't check the main relay. The only thing for checking spark I could think of was actually pulling out the plug and seeing if its sparking- anybody have another test.
as for the ECU- I have no idea what kind it is but I can find out.
