Throttle body question?
Im looking to upgrade my throttle body and i justed wanted to know whats a better one to go with. I was looking in to three different one's the Skunk2, Erick's racing, and STR. What you guys think is the better one.
The old addage, bigger is usually better. So the biggest you can find really.
Also the old Ford 5.0 throttle bodies bolt right up from what I have heard. You can source one from a junk yard for about $25-$50 easy. Only thing is you have to fab the wiring from a 4 wire TPS to a 3 wire I beleive. Or its the other way around. I cant remember. I think that TB is like 65mm also.

Bigger is not better, if you're bigger than than what you need for flow, you're going to lose velocity. So you'll lose power if you go too large. Don't just throw something on, do your homework and size it correctly.
