Default ECU Swap

Do I have to change my ECU when I do a LS/VTEC swap? How can I avoid it. I know I need to get a distributor for whatever VTEC Head I get. People's let me know.

You'll need a VTEC capable ECU, something compatible with what you're trying to do, like a chipped P28 (if you're OBD1) or similar..

Does anyone know what kind of ECU a 90 Teg has? I haven't had time to look at mine.

There weren't a heck of a lot of OBD0 VTEC ECUs, so your best bet may be a PW0 or PR3, and there are some other options like a PM6 that has been converted to add a VTEC output. Zdyne used to do this I think...

Could I rewire my ECU to accept VTEC? I saw diagrams on where all the pins and wires should go.

If the ECU doesn't have a VTEC output and the proper sensor inputs, then no.
