eclipse spuddering problem
my eclipse pudders betwenn 1 and second gears i figured it was my plugs and wires so i changed them from advanced. Still did not work so went to bapgeon and said advanced gave me german plugs so i bought some from there. Worked alot better then before but still a little bit. then the wires advanced gave me shreaded while taking them out like 5 minutes after installing so returned them and placed stock ones back in there. so now i have new plugs with original wires still puddering alot less then initially. should i go and buy newer wires which are better then advanced or try somen else?
what you really should've done is checked the stock plugs to check for signs of running rich, running lean, detonation, etc. that would help diagnose the problem a lot more. misfiring by faulty plug wires generally occurs more at a lower rpm under a heavy load so keep that in mind. also you may possibly have a fuel filter getting clogged up. just try to figure out what is wrong before you go throwing parts at the car.
my car does the same thing..some one reccomended checking the air/fuel ratio
or the car could ot be getting enough fuel and too much air resulting in a lean position
as soon as you step on the gas a bit does it clear out???
