Excellent points, as always.

By the time you correct the "problems" you might just as well buy something else for all the money you just spent in rods, parts, etc..

Not necessarily. Basically your only other option to reach 2.0 liters is to sleeve a b18 block and that would be more expensive to do then the process needed to strengthen the b20 cylinders.

I guess you could always try to stroke the dog piss out of a b18 and run a very short rod and custom pin set piston, but what would be the point.

Point being a God awful R/S ratio, I'm looking for a 1.1:1 or lower myself. Maybe some 1.5 inch rods with a 6 inch stroke. 2.8 Liter B16A baby!

why would they produce a motor that makes 170 whp (sorta....just a ballpark number) when they already have a type-r engine, and a gsr???? the point of crvtec is to increase displacement and torque. honda doesn't care about making more torque, they are economy cars so they have no reason to produce a sport engine outside of the type-r

EDIT: Should i just build an ls-vtec then? if the block is so much weaker?
