i know they have certain applications for specific cars, as do turbochargers. but i would like to know, can you take that same mentality as a turbocharger setup and do it for a supercharger? like take a saab turbocharger and put it on a civic. just as an example. and what would you need to do a task like this? any info would be much appreciated. thanks

I don't think swapping a stock S/C from another car onto a Civic is a good idea. Those S/C's are fabricated for THAT motor! You need one made to work with yours. There are plenty of options besides Jackson Racing, if you take the time to look. Hmmmmm, first hit when doing a "search" on `supercharger'....
