Cool C7 twin supercharger car

i just saw a small article of a 2001 Soarer(aka SC430 in the U.S.) with a 4.2 V8 engine, C7 blitz twin supercharger in super street magazine. damn never thought that a twin supercharger existed. it says it has 315 horsepower also. doesnt seem like much, but i bet it hauls ass. im glad to see that super street is showing other cars besides the usual 4 bangers. anyone else see this?

Older MR2s aren't twincharged, but HKS does make a twincharging kit I believe.

You have the Supercharger on the low end, then when the turbo spools the car starts using that.

I hope that 315 is whp and not crank. If it's crank hp that's just sad.

It could be de-tuned. Last I knew, in Japan, their cars are limited to 285hp. Hench the 285hp Skylines, RX7s and Supras from the factory there.

That 285 limit was nothing more than a number the factories were limited to claiming. Quite a few Japanese cars made far more hp but were only rated at 285.

If that number is at the wheels then it's pretty good IMO.
