Civic Turbo Problem
Ok, i was pulling from a light today and i shift second gear and when i did so, my car just stopped taking gas, it putted like once and then nothing, it rolled to a stop and the whole time i was pressing the gas and did nothing. So when it stopped i tried to start it back up and it putted once and then nothing it would just sit there and turn over. Its getting gas i do know that, but what else could it be???

this is like asking for an estimate over the phone.
It could be a thousand different things.
get it PROFESSIONALLY Diagnosed.
Honestly theres no way for it to be diagnosed with that description if you havent done anything to check it out for yourself yet. The very first thing I would check is gas level like stated, then fuel pump, then so on and so forth.
How do you know it's getting gas?
You need 3 basic things to keep your car running. Fuel, spark, and compression. Do a compression check, then pull a plug, turn it over and see it sparks.
I would suggest taking it to some one who can fix it for you.

My dad is a mechanic so he will look at it, when i turned it over you could smell the gas fumes so i figured it was getting gas. My car had full tank of gas and i could hear the fuel pump coming on. I am going to check spark and hope its that.
