idling problem with turbo
i have a 92 civic hatch with a h22a swap n 60-1 t3/t4 turbo. im using 440cc fuel injectors... no fuel management... car running at stock boost 4 pounds. the idle is at 2000 rpm which is high and then after driving for a little bit....the idle would drop down to 1000 rpm and the car wont pull as hard. man.... i just dont know. any help? thanx.
yoir gas mileage will go down and your peformance will decrease, too much fuel is a bad thing for making power and your definitely gonna be feeling a crazy drop in power out of boost and just driving around cause your drowning your shit in fuel.......
look at this thread. the pics are what happend to a car that the owner put bigger fuel injectors on without fuel management.

an fmu is not gonna control your injectors , it only controls fuel pressure when your in boost, you need to get at the least a vafc and take some fuel out of them injectors.........
wats the difference between a vafc and a safc....how bout a hondata..?....n if i get any electronics i diffnately need somebody to tune it for me...yo im sorry im a newbie in tuning cars....
a vafc is basically a safc with a vtec contoller. if you got some cash hondata would be a much better option. you can see if your ecu is compatible by going here. if you can, get the s200b and go find a good tuner.
