Turbo problem
Ok, heres the problem
everytime i try to boost up to 5psi, my engine seems like it wants to cut off, kind of like a warning of detination. but whenever it does that, i dont force it let go of the gas and then its fine. am asuming that it needs more fuel. Am told a Vortech FMU would help. or should i upgrade my 99 civic sohc injectors to 310cc.

Hey
I have read that if you get a stand along fuel management system, then you have to run atleast 410cc injectors. So see what other people have to say and see what you can do, but for now I would just leave the boost fairly low and don't drive it to hard. Do u have a rough idle at 6psi? Is it running lean?

damn man, where do you live? what kind of setup do you have? do you have any sort of fuel control at all? adding more air {boost} is going to do you no good if theres no fuel to burn
fmu is the most basic. bigger injectors will require control.. an afc {they SUCK} hondata.. which is pretty good for street cars. AEMS is good as well as all the other standalones.
kinda depends on your budget.

afc's work for small hp applications, true. they just manipulate o2 signal. o2 sensors only carry a weight of like +/- 5% to the overall fuel map. if you are going to do radical things like lots of boost an afc will quickly run out of tunability. ESPECIALLY on factory n/a cars like hondas. factory turbo cars at least have the benefit of boost enrichment fuel mapping.

damn, you called my hp small, do you not have a heart?. haha, yea on factory turbo cars a damn afc seems to do alot more than on a honda, but it will do the trick if your not looking to make assloadsof hp and not spend too much money either.........
