Default Catalyst ECU CEL??

I have a 98 gsr with a 98 sir-g swap in it with the jdm computer. I recently replaced the upstream oxygen sensor, and have a brand new downstream sensor and have not put it in yet due to my question. I have a CEL that i have checked and says that i have the p1337 which i know of, but the scanner also says catalyst monitor inc and evap system monitor inc. My question is do either of those inc monitors mean my o2 sensor or cat is bad and if not what do they mean? Thanks for your help.

The 2nd part of this is that i switched my ecus so i could check what the CEL was and it only pulled the p1337 code for having a JDM motor minus the CKF... but i still have a code when i run the JDM ecu so something doesnt make sense... And the CEL i have normally running the JDM ecu fades from bright to dark and sometimes goes out... Any help will be much appreciated.

Emissions monitors are basically test plans that are put in place to verify the function of various emissions related systems. Each monitor will have several enabling criteria that need to be met in order to pass.

The Evap monitor has nothing to do with the cat as it pertains to the fuel evaporative system.

The fact that those monitors are incomplete does not necessarily indicate that any particular component is faulty though it is certainly possible. I'm not familiar with Hondas so I don't know the enabling criteria for those monitors. I would start with getting that information and go from there. The monitors will reset if the car's battery dies and it can take several drive cycles to meet the enabling criteria, it could be as simple as that.
