This thread is getting off subject.

I just need some input on what mods it will take to get a b16a into the 13's-12's in a hf CRX. What kind of mods what brands all the details.

Good point,,but aftermarket is more reliable I think than a stock ignition....I would think

well good luck on making power bud....we saw a 201 horsepower b16 crx run side by side with brutl. (mid 13's) and that engine has a fark load of work time and elbow grease into it.

for real......if you realistically want to hit 12's (without spending a gazillion dollars) go bigger. ide much rather work with a gsr or ls

honda ignition is fine btw....

yeah while oyu can run stock ignition, he sounds liek eh wants to build it up and a new aftermarket ignition system is def a good mod. cars run turbo's on stock internals too, doesn't mean they're good.

the main reason why the b16 sucks to go all motor, is the block dosent have enough oil squirters to go that high of a compression or a real high redline, you really need to get yourself a ls block or any b18 block of some sort

honda makes great ignition. erick aguilar runs honda ignition. hes the best. that means that theyre GOOD.
