well i was gonna make a new thread about the same thing, but since this is here let me ask a question. If i get a B16A would i have to upgrade my rods if i went with the Crower 64302 (stage 2)Grind, chiped ecu for a 4200 vtec and 8700 limit, headers, intake, exhaust, blaster ss coil, FPR? Would really appreciate the input if yall have any.

that would be awesome if toda made 12.5:1 pistons for a b16 but they dont...biggest toda pistons you can run in a b16 is the 82mm which would give you a cr= 11:9 you could use a mugen headgasket or spoom and get to 12.2 but thats about it..

but too make it fast ls/vtec slicks stock jdm itr internals low 13's high 12's

 

blah my beast so far cost me 1700 thats for motor/parts..i still need to buy my toda timing belt, skunk2 manifold, ecu jumper and some type of headers errr...plus im still waiting for my block to be built ...it is a lot of money and patience, well for me not as much money as for the rest sincei got all my shit a real great price

 

So how much would it cost to build a LS/VTEC conversion in VA?

in md they charge 1100 at the shop we go thru since you will need it bored and honed out..if i go through my friends acura its 500 but no boring..but the shop in md gives you brand new bearings which is also money..im not sure about acura

 

those prices are just for labor

 

whatever you get itr pistons/ rings is on your own, i got my shit for 700..jdm itr fuel rail, injectors, flywheel,pistons,cams/ctr intake cam,valvesprings,retainers, valves also with mugen headgasket

i also paid 200 for jdm itr rods
