Anybody running power steering in a B swapped EG?
Before I go off and buy a B series power steering pump, I want to know if I can use it with my swap. The car is an Si hatch which originally had power steering. All the lines and reservoir are still intact, I just don't have a B series pump.
The steering racks are the same as a Del Sol VTEC, I only wonder if the fittings for the pressure line are the same. Anybody know?

You will have to use a 94-2000 B-series pump. All of them should work as I used to have a GSR(P72) pump on my old B-series swap in my del sol.
A Del Sol VTEC and my 92 Civic Si both use the same power steering rack. A Del Sol VTEC and a 99 GSR use the same power steering pump. Seeing as how I've got a 99 GSR motor in my 92 Si which has a Del Sol VTEC rack, it should work. The only possible problem I can forsee is the pressure line fitting. If the 92 Si uses the same rack as a Del Sol VTEC but the pressure line is different, I could be a little hosed, if not, it should bolt right up correct?

Just found out there's a difference between OBD1 and OBD2 power steering pumps. I guess it'll work fine with an OBD1 pump. Thanks for the help guys.
dude thats crap!!!you can't use an obd-2 power steering pump on a obd-1 car the fittings are diffrent...you'll need a 93-95 thats what will work on the stock hose there...your best bet is to use a 95 ls i know for a fact that one will work or if you can get your hands on one from and older ls or a gs-r those will work to
