will it be oka if i can tak off the p/s pump off and run with out the p/s working well i want no p/s and i was wondering will the tie rod will work when i start the engine so i was thinking abt remove my p/s off will that work?

i just found out that if i take off my p/s pump off and drive it around over an year then the steering will get stuck is that true inside of the tie rod sways will become rust bec no fluid in it ...?
