acting sluggish
i have an 89 nissan pick up. its got the single cam ka in it. it acting really sluggish like sputtering and stuff. did a compression check.
cylinder 1- 110
cylinder 2- 80
cylinder 3- 95
cylinder 4- 90
would cylinder two make it run like that? did a tune up plus fuel filter and still didnt change anything. also like someitmes it cuts off like goin from third to fourth. all help is appreciated. thanks

Re: acting sluggish
Dude check your timing (crank to cam relation) compression sounds very low to me I'm not an expert on nissan, just low by comparison. I think your timing has jumped. Is it hard to start and backfires at all?

Re: acting sluggish
Like I said I'm not a Nissan Tech so I don't know what the engine has for compression normally. All I know is most engines don't want to light off (start) below 100 psi cyl pressure. considering the compression across the board you either have an engine that has jumped time or one that has a zillion miles on it.
