'86 Civic Si ECU question
My buddy has an '86 Civic Si that is his absolute baby. I don't think a cleaner '86 Civic exists. He's had an o2 sensor code for a while but this morning he put the key in the ignition and now he's missing a lot of stuff. The fuel pump didn't cycle, the pgmfi light didn't cycle like normal, the car turns over but it won't fire, and the o2 code that he's had for a while isn't showing. Any clues as to what it might be?

When my old car (the 325) wouldnt start and it would just crank it was the fuel pump. We replaced it and it was fine. I also had to see if the cam was moving when someone cranked it to make sure it wasnt the timing belt.
To get it to start I took the cover off of the top of where the fuel pump was and tapped the metal line with a hammer while cranking it and it fired up so I could get it to the shop.
(this is bmw and i dont know if it will work with honda)
