I realized for me that a cookie cutter 4in lifted Jeep on 35's is fun but I wanted more, this is why I'm building a 2nd Jeep.

I just have the arms laying around if you want them and the drop tcase kit.
jeeps are like the hondas of the 4x4 world. soo cheap and easy to lift, i love it.

You hush your mouth with those words

I'd say Toyotas and Samari's are cheaper to buy and mod because so many mall crawlers want a Jeep, which jack the prices up on parts.

Debating if doing a solid axel swap on the Bronco is worth the trouble. It's "offroading" will be more of a hunt truck, no crawling or heavy offroading in it's future.

The TTB will always ride better then a SAS (solid axle swap). You have limitations on the TTB. The higher you go in suspension lifts, the harder it is to fix camber on a TTB. They flex ok but nothing to brag about. So for a woods pounder, it will work. It will ride comfortable. 33-35in tire and a small lift is probably the most I'd do on a TTB. SAS will always be better for real 4wheeling, bigger lifts and tires. But they don't ride as good.

Goal is 6" with a set of 35x12.50R15, not going for anything crazy.

Talk to 'Baldchris' on here. He did a SAS on his FS Bronco. It's actually for sale right now in the classifieds. Pretty good asking price. Anyway, wheeled with it and him quite a few times and it did great. I'd say well worth it but depends on the stuff you'll be doing. It pays if you'll be wheeling it more. Not a mod I'd do if it were street driven more. Not that the handling would be the issue but if you drive it more or just hit up the mud and mild trails the TTB will (I'd say) treat you well.

Pics of Chriss Bronco...

yea but just like hondas the parts are all interchangeable. there are a few cars that you can fully build decently thru craigslist and it's hondas, jeeps, and foxbodies.
