Sweet another lifted durango. Look into getting your torsion bas cranked all the way to the max while your at it, guys at pungo should know what im talking about. To fit those 33's your also going to need to raise the rear end to try and match the torsion adjustment, there is a chevy lowering shackle you can buy which should raise your rear end an extra inch or two. This wont get it even with the front so you might consider doing some kind of add a leaf also. Im running what I just described but with bfg mud 32's. I had to do a bit of trimming to fit them and would have to do even more to fit the 33's.

Sorry I cant get any part numbers and stuff, im at school right now.

Its fun as hell offroad, and just crazy in the mud. But, its nothing like my lifted jeep.

(Its also forsale 2000 5.9L ~60,000 32's BO for now..let me know.)

If you have any questions let me know..

Can you point me in the direction of these shackles. Apparently one of mine is broken per what the guy at Pungo OR told me.

While I was offroading the durango i was part of a club called durango owners group. ( www.durangoclub.com ) Its been atleast a year and half since posting on that board, but they were nice guys if you want to post a question asking for the shackle part number, or im sure you could try a search for them. I might be going home this weekend, and if i do ill try and snag a part number off the box.. sorry guys for the long sentance, late for class.....

Im not that skilled with the Durangos as I am with Dakotas, but from I do know is that the Gen 3 Durangos/Dakotas front suspensions were the same. You should be able to fit 32x11.50s with minor rubbing on stock height. Torque the torsion bars a little and you shouldnt rub at all.

Now with the 3" body lift, you will clear 33x12.50s no problem with a little fender trimming.

Of course, this all also depends on the backspacing of the wheels you are going with and also how wide they are.

I had 15x10" wheels with a 3.5 backspacing and although it gave my truck a mean ass stance, I couldnt live with the rubbing when I was offroad. So now im at a 15x8" and 4.0 backspacing.

btw, go to SOVA-Dakotas.com. Thomas is part of our club (hes the one that bought your TA).

Well I figured I'd give a little update. The shackle and leaf is broken. The leaf is broken where it meets the shackle and well obviously the shackle is broken too. Since the dealership said they'd fix my "squeak" I had in the rear I'm taking it to them and they can pay to fix it. Then I'm gonna go with longer shackles in the rear to hopefully lift that up a little and turn to torsion bars a little in the front.
