Default Wheel width question...

I'm picking up a set of 38.5"x15"-16.5" rim Ground Hawg bias ply tires. I want to know if I need to get a 12" wide wheel, or will a 9.75"-10" wheel be fine with that tall of a tire?

man ide go with a 12 wide wheel. it looks alot better and less chances of coming off the bead i use to run 8 wides on my 38x16x16.5 swampers and poped a few off. went to 14 wides and no more trouble.

I'm picking up the tires the weekend after this now, due to a busted u-joint. I'm also looking at picking up some Dana 70 axles that I just recently found. Fully rebuilt w/ 4.88 gears, Lockers in both and 15x14 Bart wheels. I can resell the wheels to make a little money back.
