They can, but it raises too much bs, as due to your out of state registration you have a high chance of getting all inspection related tickets dropped in court. I would have to look into it deeper, but I think the Driver's License Compact plays a role, specifically the part where each member states accepts each other's rules (if you get nailed for simple speeding in VA, MD will recognize it, and vice versa since both are members of the Compact. However, if your car meets MD inspection and ur car is registered in MD, then VA can charge you with breaking their inspection law, but it won't cross and thus be pointless).

Were these all cars with exhaust tips, and intakes or what. I noticed when my bro just had little stuff, cops would bother us left and right, but once he did the big turbo setup, them seemd to chill down and show respect.

First off FFX cops are tight asses, as PWC cops are chill.

At 28, I was talking to a cop that was checking out the euros and he said something on the line that "We do not bother going after european cars as they are not the ones causing the problems." Right than a import decided to try a burnout and got pulled over.

Also my car is modified and I have been pulled over for it. They were going to give me tint, suspension and exhaust. I told them I bought it that way and therefore I do not have to change it. The FFX cop called BS on me and I went to court. I told the judge at the time of purchase I did not know that it was illegal and therefore I shall not pay to fix it if I already bought it. The judge sided with me and all I had to pay was court costs.

I know they do not pull over the muscle cars with slicks or the hot rods.

They should be going after the MS-13 as they are a bunch of shit that need to get removed.
